Huntington Beach, California

We have lots of changes coming our way for 2017. Our last update we mentioned that we were coming to California for three months to help Circuit Riders with their first DTS. After several weeks of getting settled here we started feeling that God was leading us to transition here. We have been feeling the last few years that God was stirring something new in our hearts and that possibly leaving Kona was a part of that. We just didn't know where we were going to end up. As we lived in Huntington Beach, prayed together, prayed with our leaders and joined in with our Circuit Rider community we felt that this was the place. We are so excited about this transition! We left Kona with full hearts and left two of our largest schools we have ever had running smoothly. We are going to stay involved with the leadership of Fire & Fragrance in the big picture of what we feel God is saying to us and how to implement that. We have some extremely exciting projects coming out of our community which we will send out in a separate update soon. We sold most of our belongings out in Kona and tried to pack what we did want into our suitcases and flew out on January 20th, 2017.

As we get set up we will join with the Circuit Rider community. Right now, they are all out on tour reaching college campuses. There are 6 larger Regional Gatherings happening in Tulsa, OK. Orlando, FL. Boston, MA. Columbus, OH. Austin, TX. and Los Angeles. We are doing a big push for lots of campuses in California in April. The summer for Circuit Riders is mostly training through a 3 week school called the 21 project. This summer there will be 21 Project in Brazil and Kona. Heading into the fall will be another round of training for the following year’s college tour!
As we land on the mainland we are excited to be connected to so many more opportunities here and closer to our families. We also feel that it is to expand our ministries and continue to see greater fruit. If you would like to donate to our family during this transition to help with our moving cost would be a huge blessing. You can make a tax-deductible one time gift or begin to join our monthly sponsor team. Click here to go to our donate page. We’ve gone through a lot of transition as a family and the last several months and we could definitely use your prayers!! We have lots to share! More than we could put in one update so stay tuned as we will be sharing more and more about what we are doing and some of the projects God is put on our hearts.
Love, Taylor, Julia, Edan & Ava

Our Highlights of 2013:

- We kicked off our 5th Fire & Fragrance DTS in Kona last January with 140 students, 50 staff and 27 kids. We saw so much fruit on our outreaches, with more salvations, healings and deeper discipleship than ever before!

- Taylor and I went on a 6-week trip in Feb/March to set up outreaches for our DTS teams. We went to L.A., D.C., London, Amsterdam, and Uganda. It was amazing to be in the nations and dream with God about these places. It was really special for me (Julia) to go back to Uganda, a place I had ministered 8 years ago.

- Taylor had a few speaking opportunities this year. He spoke for a week in Maui and in Amsterdam. He has also been teaching in different schools here in Kona. It has been fun for him to step out in teaching.

- Julia turned 30! We celebrated by going to Kauai, a place that Julia has always wanted to go. We also celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary there as well. It was a fun and relaxing time for us.

- This summer we got to be a part of the Lancaster, PA Circuit Riders School. It was a highlight to see hundreds come to the evening meetings and encounter the Lord.

- We got to spend time with both of our families this summer, which we always cherish so much. We were able to help out with the strawberry harvest in Canada, which was a blast. One day we were sold out in 15 minutes!

In 2014 we have many things on the horizon, but the one thing we are the most excited about is meeting our little baby coming in March! Julia is doing amazing and we are excited about this new arrival. We will continue to oversee and help lead in different areas of Fire & Fragrance. We are pioneering a few new initiatives this year including a new DTS in September, a few new short intensive training schools and a new community plant in Kona that will focus on song writing and worship & prayer. We are excited about this year ahead knowing it will be full of new joys and experiences!

Summer Update

Early this summer we received back our Fire & Fragrance D.T.S. outreaches and graduated our largest school yet! It was such a joy to graduate and feel the accomplishment of another great school. The accomplishment of knowing how transformed each staff and student's lives were and knowing the impact they had in our 9 outreach locations. We calculated and estimated that while our teams were on outreach that over 15,000 people heard the gospel. Over 1,500 people made Christ their Savior for the first time and over 3,000 people were healed from pain, disease, broken bones, etc. as our teams prayed for them. Ealier this year we felt like God asked Julia and I to leave the school to prepare for our outreach locations for more fruit. We set out on a long trip and can look back see the difference it made for our teams. It was amazing to see what God did in 2 months with a team of 10-30 fiery ones, carrying the faith for revival!!!

After graduating the DTS, we left the island for a summer of visiting our families, and being apart of one of the Circuit Rider Schools that our crew ran this summer. We always look forward to the change of pace, and the quality time we get to spend with our family.

We traveled to Lancaster, PA. to be a part of our School of the Circuit Riders. Circuit Riders is a shorter intensive school about preaching the gospel, discipling new believers, and setting people free from their strongholds. The motto is simple. Save the Lost. Revive the Saved. Train Them All! We truly saw a move of God in Lancaster as the meetings swelled from 800 to 2,000 people and over 450 full time students. We saw churches come together in unity and over 300 decisions for Christ!

We are now back on the island preparing for our next school starting in January. Our staff arrive this month and we will diiscipling and training for the next 3 months to prepare for the students arrival. We are also about to expand Fire & Fragrance ministries with more full time departments. We see a need to create a better infrasture to the steward the people God is sending us and the fruit we are laboring for. This takes time, but we are excited as this will help sustain us in the future.

We were so glad to see lots of during this summer and we are thankful to have you guys a part our lives. In prayer, financial support, friendship, or just keeping up with us! Until next time....

To The Nations!

I love Africa. There is something about it that just has my heart. The kids, the culture, the beauty. The simplicity of life there. I just love it all.
This was week 6 of our travel trip to many of the locations we will be sending our Fire & Fragrance DTS outreaches in just a few weeks from Kona, HI.
In just our week in Uganda we saw 8  salvations from Taylor preaching at a Prison and at a youth service at church. What is a team of 20 going to see there in 2 months??!!
Every place we went to on our trip, we were struck with the same reality...people need Jesus. People can have dreams, encounters and visions of Jesus....but most people need to be told who Jesus is and how they can have a personal relationship with Him.
We felt challenged to believe....what can 20+ people do in a city, town, nation for 2 months? Ones who know who they are in Christ and the authority they carry as sons and daughters? Ones who have fire in their hearts of love for Jesus and for ALL to know him. Ones that believe God heals today by the work already accomplished on the cross.
I think that we need to rip off all limitations we have put on ourselves. We need to throw off the boxes of what a short-term outreach can accomplish! We need to partner with faith and not unbelief! All it takes is one day, one testimony, one moment where all the bowls of heaven tip over and we see the fruit of our prayers manifest on earth!
The nations are RIPE for REVIVAL! All creation groans and long for JESUS!
Next week, we are excited to send out these burning ones. The nations are ready. We will see greater things!  We will see more fruit than ever! Why...cause this is what Jesus is doing!! It is all about Him and all about His glory!!!
God Bless you!!!

New Assignment

This year is off a great start!! We are rolling with lots of momentum with various projects and initiatives!!

We started our largest Fire & Fragrance DTS  in January with 50 staff and over 140 students. This school has been the most dynamic school we have seen yet. We have learned so much from all our training schools and are now putting it all into action. Our students are getting instantly trained and mobilized to teach and train others. Our main focuses are the preaching of the simple gospel, and going deep into the 10 basics of discipleship. It is amazing to see God changing hearts and lives through the truth of the word and teachings of Jesus!

God gave us a new vision and strategy for our outreaches. The new idea was sending larger outreach teams to a city to see breakthrough that would inspire the city, the churches and YWAM. We feel like God is leading us to see our outreach teams focus on evangelism and discipleship and build towards gatherings were we see the lost saved and the saved revived!! We are sending 9 teams of 20 or more people to LA, Washington DC, New York, Amsterdam/London, Uganda, South Africa, Nepal, India and the Big Island of Hawaii. We have faith to see more fruit than ever on these outreaches, and believe that the harvest truly is ready!!! The lost are waiting to hear the good news!!

As we write this, we are in Pasadena, California where we just have started a Fire & Fragrance community. This is our first stop of our 6 week travel journey to many of the places we will be sending the outreach teams. At the end of 2012, the Lord made it so clear to us that he was shifting our focus from being involved mostly in training the DTS's to getting ready for the great harvest that we all believe is coming and already started.  So we are travelling asking God for eyes to see and ears to hear what he is dong in each location and how we can best parter with him to have maximum fruit from our short term teams. This is an exciting assignment for us, and we are going with so much faith and excitement in our heart for all that God will do!

Thank you for your continued prayers and support! I hope you enjoy our new website!!!

The Summer of Great Awakenings

As I write this we are in Kansas City basking in the afterglow of being a part of the last of 5 circuit riders schools ran this summer. These schools were a response to the word of the Lord that the harvest is ready, but the laborers are few. We teach the riders to how to preach the simple gosple, and set people free. With joyful repentance we fully embrace all of our lives being lined up to living out God's word and the cuture of the Kingdom for His glory! We saw over 900 salvations and 400 physical healings this summer. All of us who came out to these times were baptized in faith to see a great harvest. At the end of the school the the riders were throwing their shoes up on stage saying "We will go!" The Circuit Rider motto is to save the lost, revive the saved, and train them all. I highly recomment listening to the poscasts from the circuit riders schools @ www.thecircuitrider.com

This spring we so enjoyed our time at YWAM Herrnhut running a Fire & Fragrance DTS. Our students caught the fire quickly of God's love over their lives and passion for all to know Him! We believe God said to strike the ground in Europe. So, we sent our teams to the UK, Turkey and Eastern Europe. They have seen incredible fruit so far, including many souls saved! Taylor will be going back to Germany in September to graduate and debrief our DTS.
